RUBBER

When it comes to choosing rubber for your climbing shoes, you have a couple of options: softer or stiffer.

Softer rubber is stickier and gives you extra grip, while harder rubber lasts longer and stands up to more wear.

If you’d like, we can simply replace your old rubber with the same type that originally came with your shoes—no need to worry if you’re happy with what you have.

You can easily select your rubber type right on the info Form before sending in your shoes.

For La Sportiva customers: If you choose a different rubber than the one your shoes originally came with, this counts as a custom resole. there's an extra charge of $15 a pair..

SIZE AND FIT

You can request an increase or decrease in the overall size/fit of your shoe by approximately a quarter to half a size (and, in some cases, slightly more). Please indicate your desired adjustment in the comments section when completing the Info Form.

Please note: we can adjust the overall size of the shoe, but we cannot alter its shape. This means that length, width, and other dimensions cannot be changed independently—only the overall size can be modified.

Additionally, La Sportiva No Edge shoes (such as the Genius, Futura, and Theory etc ) can only be resized to a very limited amount.

Basic size adjustments, when possible, are included as part of the service at no additional cost.

TOE SCUM PADS

Toe scum pads (for toe hooking) are cleaned and glued down normally as part of the resole service at no extra charge. Replacement of La Sportiva scum pads (most models) is $12 per shoe

HEEL FITTING

Unfortunately, the heel fit cannot be adjusted without completely rebuilding the shoe. While this is technically possible, it is often uneconomical, as the cost may be comparable to purchasing a new pair. We recommend selecting a new pair of shoes that provides the perfect fit you need.
