A standard resole is by far the most common resole that climbers choose as it offers the most cost-effective way to extend the lifespan of a well-fitting, broken-in pair of shoes without sacrificing performance, or needing to replace the entire sole.
This process involves replacing the front rubber section—from the toe to the mid-foot (also known as a "HALF SOLE")—which experiences the most wear from rock contact.
Standard resoles can be performed on nearly any climbing shoe, regardless of brand or model.
Split soles shoes are engineered with separate rubber sections for the forefoot and heel to enhance flexibility and sensitivity. As a result, the resole process focuses specifically on replacing the worn forefoot rubber while preserving the heel section, which is typically subject to less wear
This approach maintains the shoe’s original performance characteristics, including its downturn, tension, and precision
We resole La Sportiva shoes using original spare parts whenever possible, ensuring the footwear retains the feel and performance intended by the manufacturer.
For other brands and models, we use the highest-quality materials to achieve the best possible results.
